1. About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of old-hymns.com (the “Website”) and the digital products made available through the Website by Stories Behind the Song, trading as Old Hymns by Stories Behind the Song (“Old Hymns,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using the Website or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or purchase our products.
2. Our Products
Old Hymns sells digital products such as printable artwork, hymn quizzes, journals, activity packs, church resources, templates, and other downloadable files.
Unless a product page clearly states otherwise, products sold through Old Hymns are digital downloads and no physical item will be shipped.
We try to describe and display every product accurately. Colors may appear slightly different depending on your screen, printer, paper, ink, or printing service.
3. Orders and Payment
Payments for our digital products are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for transactions made through its checkout.
Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, applicable sales taxes/VAT, receipts, and certain transaction-related matters under its own buyer terms and policies.
We do not directly receive or store your full payment-card details.
Your order is complete when payment has been successfully processed and the digital product has been made available to you.
4. Digital Delivery
Digital products are normally made available immediately after a successful purchase through the checkout confirmation, order email, download link, or other delivery method provided through Lemon Squeezy.
Please enter a valid email address when purchasing. If you have trouble finding or downloading a purchase, contact us at hello@old-hymns.com and we will do our best to help.
5. Product Licenses and Permitted Use
The license that applies to a product will be stated on its product page where relevant.
Personal Use License
Unless a product page states otherwise, a personal-use purchase allows you to:
- download the purchased files for your own use;
- print reasonable copies for yourself or your household; and
- keep backup copies for your own use.
You may not:
- resell, redistribute, sublicense, share, or give away the digital files;
- upload the files to file-sharing websites, shared drives, template libraries, marketplaces, or public repositories;
- claim the design or files as your own work;
- use the files to create products for resale; or
- remove copyright, attribution, or license notices where they are included.
Church / Organization License
Where a product is specifically sold with a Church License or similar organization license, the purchasing church or organization may use the product for the internal activities of one local congregation or organization, subject to any additional terms shown on the product page.
A Church License does not permit resale, redistribution of the original digital files, sublicensing, or sharing the files with unrelated churches or organizations unless the product page expressly allows it.

6. Intellectual Property
The Website, branding, original product layouts, illustrations, graphics, photographs, designs, text, and other original materials created for Old Hymns are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Some products may incorporate public-domain hymn text or other public-domain source material. Our rights in those products apply to our original selection, arrangement, design, illustration, formatting, and other protectable elements, and do not create ownership over material that is lawfully in the public domain.
Third-party materials, if any, remain the property of their respective owners and are used only where we have the necessary rights or permission.
Purchasing a product gives you a license to use it as described above; it does not transfer ownership of our intellectual property to you.
7. Refunds
Because our products are digital and can normally be accessed immediately, purchases are generally final once access or downloading has begun.
However, we want customers to receive what they paid for. Please read our Refund Policy for the situations in which we may replace a file, provide support, or approve a refund.
Nothing in these Terms or our Refund Policy limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded in your country or state.
Lemon Squeezy may also process or issue refunds in accordance with its own buyer terms, policies, fraud-prevention procedures, or legal obligations.
8. Product Availability and Changes
We may update, replace, correct, or discontinue a product at any time.
We may also correct typographical errors, inaccurate descriptions, pricing errors, or technical mistakes. If a material error affects an order you have already placed, we will take reasonable steps to resolve it.
9. Website Use
You agree not to:
- misuse the Website or interfere with its operation or security;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or its systems;
- use automated tools to scrape or copy substantial portions of the Website without permission;
